Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and continued her three-fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had previously defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking her revenge on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her by an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was able to bounce back to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 represented her debut fight with a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities took down McGill her first time, and she was able to end her in the third round through TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd had not made the weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she defeated her via a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she defeated her opponent in her final bout with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina, and used ground-and-pound to take the win via TKO in the second round. The dominance of her continued, and she won a dazzling victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the first round and received a performance of the Night prize. Her first fight of note came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough and ended her win streak. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
