Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 in 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr., a tool and Die manufacturer who had previously employed as a laborer for a manufacturing company. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone started second grade at five years old. Stone was said to be academically gifted. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she earned her diploma in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her take home Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt moved out of New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in 1977. The two signed on with the Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. The next stage was Europe which she was to spend a year residing in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was, however, frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She chose to keep her acting career going as an actress while she was in Europe. In her 20s, she starred in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories" that received mixed praises.
